FLORE (BELGIUM) BY PIEN VAN GRINSVEN, THOMAS SZACKA-MARIER
Synopsis: Music video for Gabriel Rios. A son has to leave his father in a nursing home, where he has to come to terms with the progression of Alzheimer's disease. But even when they are apart, they cannot let the other one behind. Running time: 00:03:53.
About the director: Pien van Grinsven (1990, NL) studied political science before being accepted into Doc Nomads, which took her to Brussels, Budapest and Lisbon, making a short film in each city. Her graduation film 'doei' toured festivals worldwide and was selected to the Cinetree film library. She now works as an independent director, dividing her time between Brussels and Amsterdam.

Synopsis: Shahrbanoo (or 'Lady of the City' in Persian language) is a mother of three, who has been sentenced to life in prison for drug transferring. After 11 years in prison, she is released for just a few days to attend her son's wedding.
